Strange Dreams

I often have very weird dreams….losing a lot of teeth, running away from people (on foot or on motorcycle…both recurring dreams). Last night I had one where I went to South Carolina for the rest of my college career. It turned out to be a school where people sent all of the problem-makers, so there were a lot of strict rules. It was a huge campus, I had no idea where I was or where I was going or what the rules were. It was mostly black kids at the school so I was getting made fun of for being white.

It was the first day of classes and I had forgotten to print out my schedule. I thought I may have already missed a class. I asked one of the administrators to help me find the library so I could print of my schedule. While at the library I took out my camera with the intention of turning it off (apparently in my dream the camera was like a phone. I was afraid it was going to make noise in the library so I wanted to turn it off). Well, that wasn’t allowed. Another administrator came over, took my camera away, and told me I wouldn’t get it back.

I never saw Sam in the dream, but I knew he existed. Some black kid tried to hit on me and I kept thinking, “This is wrong…where’s Sam?” The weird part is how real it all felt. I was relieved to wake up and realize that I really WASN’T at a school in South Carolina and I was home with Sam.

Honeymoon continued

Ok, I finally uploaded more pictures from the honeymoon, so here’s the continuation…

I got through Tuesday in the last post, but I honestly don’t remember what we did Wednesday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday we went to Knotts Soak City and The Living Desert, and also rode the aerial tramway up to Mount San Jacinto State Park.

Knotts Soak City was a really small waterpark but the slides were good so it was a lot of fun.

The Living Desert was really neat. They had some fun animals, but a lot were hiding beyond view. Who can blame them in that hot weather?

(I didn’t have much success getting pictures of a few of the animals….)

(Don’t worry, that isn’t real :P)

He was really close to the glass…

and not very happy.

The Aerial tramway was fun, but not completely worth the cost.

Looking from the bottom up…

Looking from the top down.

Friendly little buggers (those are Sam’s feet).

We also saw Pirates 3 and Shrek 3 at the Ghettro 8 theater in Indio.

And a picture taken from the car window while driving:

So, overall, it was a wonderful week. We really enjoyed our time there. I loved being able to relax and not worry about work or school. Who doesn’t love their own honeymoon?

Book of Mormon

I’ll post pictures of the apartment soon. We haven’t had the chance to clean it yet and I didn’t want to post pictures of trash. Soon, though!
